  • What is a Ping

  • A ping is the time it takes for a request sent to a server to reach the server and back again. It is measured in milliseconds (ms): the slower the Internet connection, the higher the ping.

A high ping means that it takes some time for the request to reach the server. This is usually due to a slow Internet connection.

A low ping means that the user's request comes quickly, this means that the user can contact the game server quickly.

A good ping for a game is up to 50 ms, a normal ping is up to 100/150 ms. And a ping over 300/350 ms is the maximum possible threshold in the game. At pings above 300/350ms, players may encounter hangs, intermittent movements, and game crashes with the error "loss of internet connection".

  • Why do I see defeat if I got disconnected/quit the battle?
